Taking you back to that carefree state of mind as in the days of the Garden of Eden is the ultimate mission of Eden Gardens Wellness Resort & Spa in St Andrew.

When you enter the inviting atmosphere of the spa, you are greeted with a warm reception that immediately gives you a relaxing feel. The front waiting area is designed like a living room setting, with comfortable sofas that you can relax in and just drift away. As you venture further inside, the ambience takes on an even cosier and intimate feel, with Eden Gardens Spa-branded water and herbal teas at your disposal with an attendant to assist.

The spa offers aromatherapy, among other massages, facials, manicures, body treatments, clinical therapies, and much more.

They pride themselves on the wide variety of services that are on offer.

"We are unique because we have combined both traditional and automated spa experiences," said assistant spa manager, Emma Subratie.

For those who might be nervous about others touching their body, they can have a luxurious spa experience with Eden Garden's automated services - the cyber massage chair and the hydromassage bed.

Subratie, the only certified medical aesthetician on the team, pointed out that the services offered at Eden Spa are tailored to each individual.

"This is not a one-size-fits-all service. We want to ensure that every need that the customer has is fulfilled. Our aim is to exceed their expectations," she said.

The spa not only fulfils patrons' desires, but they do it with locally supplied and Jamaican-made products, including from their own bottled water and a few beauty supplies.

"We believe in 'buy Jamaica, build Jamaica', so we have our own line of products such as lotions, body scrubs, shampoos and conditioners. All of these products are manufactured in Jamaica," said Subratie.

The spa also has a LED facial lamp that is used for LED facials, which helps with anti-ageing and acne treatments. They also offer micro needling that forces the skin to produce its own collagen, giving it a more youthful look.

Eden Gardens Wellness Resort & Spa is located at 39 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston 10.
